Current Makeup Must-Haves

Makeup Blogger

I’ve been so focused on my skincare recently that my makeup has become pretty minimal for every day. As most days I’ve just been using a tinted SPF for my base, I like to keep all my base products creamy and natural looking too. Whilst these are by no mean the only products I’m using on an everyday basis. They’re the ones I think you need to try!

Danial Sandler Water Colour Blush Makeup Review

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blusher

I completely forgot about this blusher for a while and now I’ve fallen even more in love with it. It’s a unique consistency, it can only be likened to water. It’s sheer but easily buildable, with a fine shimmer. It can be applied with fingertips or with a brush, but just make sure to give it a good shake first. It is such a natural looking product regardless of the colour options. It almost blends itself.

Bobbi Brown Brow Gel Makeup Review

Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper

Full disclaimer my brows are unruly. There is one section that almost never sit right, and it drives me insane. That was until I discovered this makeup must-have. Unlike some brow gels, this one leaves no evidence of gel where some can look a bit gunky. The short brush means you can really style your brow how you want it to sit. I normally use my normal eyebrow pencil and fill in any gaps then use this gel to set them in place.

RMS Beauty Living Luminiser makeup review

RMS Beauty Living Luminizer

I remember back to the days when I was a powder girl – yes, shaded full coverage powder on top of my foundation with powder blush, bronzer and highlight. Whilst there’s nothing wrong with that, I can’t see myself wearing all that on a daily basis anytime soon. I remember when I first splurged on this makeup item and I could not see what the fuss was about. I think that’s because the Living Luminizer works best on the skin or a liquid base, for me, it just blends better. This highlighter gives you the dewiest highlight which is noticeable whilst remaining natural. Because you can really work it into the skin with your fingertips, it just enhances your skin like nothing else I’ve found.

Thanks Elena :), it really is! And it’s so buildable for those looking for something more striking! 🙂 x

Vanessa you would love it! It’s truly transforms the whole face and I’m not normally a huge blusher fan as I find a lot of them too ruddy on me if that makes sense! A little of this stuff goes a long way too, so it really lasts! 🙂 x

A liquid blusher?! I’ve never seen anything like that before, and I think cream blushers work similarly! It’s rare that I actually find products I 100% love and would repurchase, but I’ve been loving the Maybelline Lash Sensational (cult classic) and the Essence highlighting powder, which is AMAZING for the price point. x

It’s truly one of a kind! I can’t stop using it, a little goes a long way too, so the price tag is worth it :). I’ve never tried the Essence highlighting powder – I seem to find creams easier to apply, but I should give it a try! Thanks for the recommendations Kyia 🙂 x
